Rostov region governor backs online “Enterprise for All” course

The governor of the Rostov Region, Vasily Golubev, has said he supports the proposal that the region’s civil servants be encouraged to sign up for Center-invest Bank’s online “Enterprise for All” course.

The bank launched its online training platform, school.centrinvest.ru, in March 2013. The platform provides open access to knowledge about modern entrepreneurship techniques in accordance with best international standards. The bank has since presented this social and educational project at international forums of Child & Youth Finance International and the Youth Business Russia programme of the International Business Leaders Forum (IBLF).

The online platform combines training modules in entrepreneurship basics, video lectures, and textbooks. These resources help users to assess their entrepreneurial capabilities and resources, produce a business plan, and select the most appropriate start-up loan product.

In the 10 months since it was launched, more than 3000 people have registered on the training portal, and 370 people have already successfully completed the course. The new training format is convenient and useful for anyone who wishes to study the basic principles of entrepreneurship. In addition, to promote knowledge about entrepreneurship, the bank is running a referral bonus programme to encourage existing learners to invite their friends to sign up. The “Invite Your Friends and Get a Prize” promotion will run until 1 April 2014. The terms and conditions are available on the website: school.centrinvest.ru
